Product Description
3212AB-10CZ is a low-odor, low-toxicity epoxy insulating compound designed for low-voltage instrument transformers and related electrical equipment.
It is a two-component epoxy system consisting of 3212A-10CZ resin and 3212B-10CZ hardener.
The hardener is a low-viscosity liquid, allowing ultra-fast curing at room temperature or rapid heat curing within 3–5 minutes at 110°C.
The cured system offers excellent overall electrical insulation performance. Heat curing is recommended when higher electrical and mechanical properties are required.

Processing Methods:
Vacuum mixing and casting, or automatic mixing, metering, and casting systems, including vacuum impregnation processes.

3212A-10CZ: 200 kg or 1,000 kg
3212B-10CZ: 20 kg, 200 kg, or 1,000 kg
Seal tightly after opening, especially Component B.
Store in a sealed container in a cool, dry environment.
Shelf life: up to 12 months under proper storage conditions.
Processing Parameters & Procedure
Typical Processing Parameters
Tack-Free Time:10–20 minutes at 30°C (100 g).Tack-free time will increase after adding fillers.
Mixed Viscosity (25°C):20 parts 3212A-10CZ + 10 parts 3212B-10CZ:500–1,000 mPa·s.
Typical Curing Conditions:≥24 hours at 25°C, or3–5 minutes at 110°C.
Typical Processing Procedure
Preparation
Prepare vacuum mixing equipment and molds or workpieces. Clean and preheat molds or components if necessary.
Batch Mixing – Step 1
Add 3212A-10CZ, 3212B-10CZ, fillers (at an appropriate ratio to maintain required flowability), and pigments (do not add pigments to Component B) into the vacuum mixing system.
Under controlled conditions (material temperature ≤80°C), vacuum-mix for 30–60 minutes until homogeneous.
Batch Mixing – Step 2
Once all preparations are complete, mix Components A and B at the specified ratio.
After final degassing, immediately pour the mixture into molds or workpieces. If required, apply vacuum for 1–2 minutes, then release vacuum and allow to cure.
Curing
Standard curing: ≥24 hours at 25°C For improved performance, heat curing is recommended: 3–5 minutes at 110°C.
Important Notes
Casting time must be strictly controlled based on material temperature, mold temperature, and batch size.
Tack-free time and full cure time are strongly affected by temperature and total mixed volume.
Larger volumes or higher material temperatures will shorten tack-free time; lower temperatures or smaller volumes will extend it.
Strict process control is required to prevent premature curing in the mixing container, excessive exotherm, or incomplete curing.
Safety & Environmental Considerations
Safety: 3212AB-10CZ is a chemical product. Use in a well-ventilated environment. Operators should wear protective gloves and appropriate protective clothing.
Environmental Protection: Empty containers and unused material must be disposed of in accordance with local environmental regulations. Improper disposal may cause environmental harm.
